Brazil reached the total 5,100,766 probable cases of dengue this Monday (May 10, 2024). There were 179,514 new infections registered by the Ministry of Health since Friday (May 17). The data is not released during the weekend.

DEATHS FROM DENGUE
In all, 2,827 people died from dengue in 2024. It’s a record.
The highest number so far was in 2023, when, throughout the year, 1,179 people died from the disease. This year, the threshold was exceeded in April.
