Mexico City.- The plane of the Mexican Air Force who traveled to Romania to rescue Mexicans and foreigners Mexico arrived early this Friday after making a final stopover to refuel at the Trenton military base in Canada.
As announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the arrival of the nationals and foreigners was at 01:00 a.m. in Mexico City, after a long trip of almost 24 hours in which they made stopovers in Ireland and Canada.
Through a publication, the SRE reported that all returnees “they are safe” and at home, it was also detailed that some of the nationals traveled with their direct family, people with Ukrainian citizenship.
It should be remembered that moments before the arrival of the plane, Boeing 737-800, Daniel Millán, head of the Office of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, had anticipated the approximate time the plane would arrive.
“The FAM plane that transports people evacuated from Ukraine will land at approximately 01:00 on Friday in CDMX”, the public servant wrote on his social networks.
According to the reports given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the rescue trip managed to bring a total of 138 people, including returnees, Sedena staff and journalists.

Regarding the number of people who managed to board the plane for humanitarian reasons, it was mentioned that they are; Mexicans 44, 28 men and 16 women; Ukrainians 28, 23 women and 5 men; Ecuadorians 7, 5 men and 2 women.
In the same way, support was also provided to a man from Peru and another from Australia, as well as a dog.
