On Wednesday, April 24, a “yellow” level of weather danger will be in effect in the Moscow region from 21:00 until the next morning due to an expected thunderstorm. This follows from data published on website Hydrometeorological center.
“Storm. The warning period is from 21:00 on April 24 to 06:00 on April 25,” the message says.
It is noted that thunderstorms and rain are expected at night in certain areas of the region.
Earlier that day, the Hydrometeorological Center also reported that at night in the Moscow region the temperature would drop to +4 degrees.
Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand reported on April 22 that Wednesday, April 24, will be the coldest day of the week in Moscow, but the temperature will still be above normal. At night in the capital, +1…+3 degrees are expected, and in the region the temperature can reach –1.
Before this, on April 21, leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Evgeniy Tishkovets, warned that rains would begin in Central Russia on April 25, and up to 80% of the monthly rainfall was expected on April 26.
