Governor Gladkov: a woman died during shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka
In the Belgorod region, a woman was killed during shelling of the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky urban district, by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the Governor of the Russian region Vyacheslav Gladkov in Telegram.
According to him, at the time of the attack, a local resident was on the street. She died on the spot from her injuries.
Gladkov added that damage was recorded in four private residential buildings in the form of broken windows, as well as cut facades, fences and roofs. In addition, one outbuilding caught fire, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. “Operational services are working on the spot. The door-to-door inspection of the territory continues,” the governor concluded.
Earlier, on the night of May 9, Belgorod was subjected to an air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result, 11 people were injured. According to Gladkov, doctors sent five of them home after providing the necessary assistance. Four women with shrapnel wounds and concussions, as well as two wounded men, remain in the hospital. Damage was found in 84 apartments in 26 apartment buildings. 53 cars were also damaged.
