In Moscow, a woman was left infertile after surgery and blamed the doctors for it
In Moscow, a woman was left infertile after an operation where she was supposed to have an inflamed fallopian tube removed. According to the victim, doctors removed her healthy tube instead of the one that was necessary, writes Telegram-Shot channel.
The 41-year-old woman believes Vyacheslav Chursin, a surgeon at the Kulakov Gynecology Center, is to blame for the incident. The patient was diagnosed with inflammation of the fallopian tube in June last year. After the operation, the Muscovite suffered from pain and, according to her, was in a semi-fainting state.
Seven days after the intervention, pus accumulated in the fallopian tube, which the doctors did not remove, and this led to peritonitis in a Moscow resident. Only after this was the woman supposedly cut out the pipe that was originally needed.
The patient said that she learned about her infertility after the second operation. As the attending physician explained to her, the healthy organ had to be removed due to complications during the operation. When asked why an inflamed organ remained in the woman’s body after the first operation, the doctor responded with the phrase “it happens.”
The victim wrote a statement to law enforcement agencies in March 2024, six months after the operation. The Muscovite has a 14-year-old son, but she wanted to have another child. The surgeon accused of the mistake refuses to comment on the situation.
Previously, a resident of Kaliningrad stopped walking after doctors advised her to bend her leg during the seven-hour labor. According to the 35-year-old Russian woman, doctors persuaded her to give birth on her own, despite recommendations from two specialists, including a neurologist, to have a caesarean section due to problems with her vision and back.
