Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- What was previously known as Antirabies Center, today it has been transformed into the Animal Welfare Center of the municipality of Ahome.
The director of Municipal Health, Ramón López Félix, said that it is necessary to achieve a dignified treatment for all the animals.

He explained that in Animal Welfare Center they are rescuing abandoned animals on the street
“What we do is identify them, take them away, take care of them to improve their conditions and look for an adoptive home for them.”

He added that also with the street animalsthat sometimes they are already part of a neighborhood, but they do not have an owner, and that people love them, they are attended to in the center of Animal welfaremainly with castration surgery to control reproduction, and are returned to where they were collected.
