The Ferrari SF90 Stradale has been around for a while and even the SF90 Spider has already been spotted on Dutch soil. So what was the brand testing with this mysterious Ferrari prototype? In any case, it is certain that the test on the public road did not end well. On a straight road near the German town of Sinsheim, the Ferrari hit the guardrails. That the temperatures were below minus may have something to do with it.
In any case, the sticker on the door and the orange power cables in the nose reveal that it is a Ferrari with a (partly) electric powertrain. It is not visible whether there is still a V8 in the back of the Ferrari. Ferrari is working on a fully electric model, but it could just as well be a hybrid. Inside you see a large red emergency button to switch off the electrical systems plus a range of separate screens.
Several scenarios are possible. This could be a new version of the SF90, with, for example, more power or a different suspension setup. It would also be a so-called mule can be. These test cars look like existing models, but they are used to test new techniques.
