Since Pokémon Sleep was released on July 17, 2023, one of the main complaints from players is the way the game measures sleep, as you have to leave your phone, with the app and screen active, next to you while you sleep through the night. Well, The Pokémon Company announced today that it has added support for select brands of smartwatchesas Fitbit, Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, and Google Pixel Watch, so you can just sync the game app with the data collected by your watch and keep capturing it all. If you’re interested, just follow the instructions within the app to link your device. No more drain on your phone’s battery!
As part of its promotional campaigns, Pokémon Sleep has gifts for its new, old and returning players. New players will get 10 PokéCookies, a Bulbasaur Incense, a Charmander Incense, and a Squirtle Incense as long as they create their account before 2:59 p.m. PDT on October 23, 2024. Players who have previous accounts but have not registered a Dream between August 23, 2024 and September 23, 2024 will receive 10 PokéCookies, a Camping Coupon, 1,000 Dream Points, and 20 S-Multimelos for returning. What is Pokémon Sleep? How to get your favorite Pokémon?
Your adventure begins on an archipelago, where you’ll be studying how Pokémon sleep. And how are you going to do that? By sleeping, of course! Snorlax will be your faithful companion and the app will record your sleep and then evaluate it in terms of duration and regularity, dividing it into three categories: light, medium and deep. Depending on your sleep rating and sleep type that night, Pokémon with similar sleep patterns to yours will appear alongside Snorlax.
But that’s not all! Since, once you wake up, you will be able to make friends with the Pokémon that appear. You can give them cookies, which will gradually strengthen your bond with them, and once the friendship level is sufficient, they can become your helpers and will collaborate with you with their special skills, as well as collecting berries and different ingredients.
Do you have Pokémon GO Plus +? It will also be useful on your journey! Just press the center button, place it next to your pillow, and you’re good to go! Plus, Pikachu can even let you know when it’s time to sleep or wake up. Ready to become a Pokémon master one nap at a time?
