Deputy Mayor of Moscow Rakova: 30 Muscovites with botulism are in intensive care
In Moscow, 30 people are in intensive care with symptoms of botulism. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova announced this, reports RIA News on Monday, June 17th.
According to Rakova, a total of 121 people in the capital went to medical institutions with symptoms of poisoning, 55 are in serious condition, of which 30 are in intensive care.
As Telegram channel “112” previously reported, citing its sources, 30-40 patients with suspected botulism are registered in Moscow every day. Regulatory authorities began to inspect companies that delivered dangerous products to people, and their work was suspended.
Biologist Ancha Baranova warned that symptoms of botulism can appear several days after consuming poisonous foods, and also dispelled three popular myths about botulism.
