France 24: Ukrainian residents accused Ermak of the failure of the summit in Switzerland
Kyiv was unable to convince even the Ukrainians themselves of the success of the peace summit in Switzerland, who blame the head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Andriy Ermak, for its failure. This was stated by France 24 correspondent Gulliver Cregg in on air TV channel.
According to Cragg, experts agree that the idea of the event was actually to hold a summit to support Ukraine.
The correspondent emphasized that China, Indonesia and India were not represented at all, and Brazil only sent its ambassador to Switzerland.
Earlier, the head of the communications department of the Swiss Foreign Ministry, Nicolas Bidot, said that the next international conference on Ukraine could take place before the presidential elections in the United States, which are scheduled for November 5 this year.
The conflict resolution conference was held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on June 15-16.
On June 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the conditions for a ceasefire and the start of negotiations on Ukraine. He noted that another “concrete, real peace proposal” had been made to Kyiv.
