In Odessa, students who demanded the speaker to speak in Russian were kicked out of a training session
In Odessa, business training students who demanded that the speaker speak Russian were kicked out. A video from the event was published in Telegram edition “Country”.
At one of the business trainings, several participants demanded that the speaker switch from Russian to Ukrainian, but he refused. In the hall he was supported by applause, but they continued to interrupt the speaker and demand that he speak in Ukrainian. As a result, the violators were removed from the event hall.
It was previously reported that more than 26 million books have been written off from Ukrainian libraries since 2022, of which more than 17 million are in Russian.
In May, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on the mandatory use of the Ukrainian language by local authorities. Deputies, officials and other speakers must speak the state language.
