Romania refused to allow Belarus to participate in the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
Romania refused to allow Belarus to participate in the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA). This is reported by RIA News with reference to the press secretary of the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
“Romania has decided not to allow not only Russia, but also Belarus to participate in the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly,” the statement says.
The fact that Romania refused to issue visas to the Russian delegation became known on June 14. According to a note from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all delegates are prohibited from entering the country due to “aggression against Ukraine.” The Federation Council said that Romania “contributes to the destruction of an organization that was once useful for cooperation in Europe,” and promised that Moscow would remember such a decision from Bucharest.
