Peskov ruled out changes at the front due to mandatory supplies of NATO weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Members of the Western NATO alliance regularly send weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the decision on mandatory deliveries will not entail changes on the fronts. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President and official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.
“It’s unlikely that this will change anything. Supplies from NATO member countries already regularly go to Ukraine,” he excluded, adding that Moscow is aware of the non-acceptance of this initiative by a number of alliance countries.
Earlier, Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the supply of military aid to Kyiv would become mandatory for NATO countries. He clarified that the shipment of weapons will be coordinated by command structures under the leadership of the commander of NATO’s joint forces in Europe, Christopher Cavoli.
