The United States has entered into a contract with an American defense-industrial company for the production of Stryker Double V-Hull A1 armored personnel carriers supplied to Kyiv. The Pentagon reported this, writes RIA News.
The contract was awarded to General Dynamics Land Systems for $65.9 million to produce the Stryker Double V-Hull A1 vehicles. According to the department, the contract is scheduled to be completed until December 31, 2026.
Earlier in May, Forbes wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are wasting a lot of unmanned aerial vehicles in vain to fight Russian tanks, which are equipped with continuous anti-drone canopies.
In April, it became known that Ukraine began modernizing the BTR-60PB armored personnel carriers, which were transferred to Kyiv by Bulgaria. The vehicles will receive new equipment and additional protection.
