“I’m excited, from today Tg2 is moving house.” Thus the director of Tg2 Antonio Preziosi today presented the new look of the news which, from tomorrow, will appear completely renewed both in terms of graphics and theme song. “A cutting-edge public service must be able to count on modern settings”, adds Preziosi. A study that “will be kept alive by our great team, and which will belong to our viewers”. An entirely internal project, curated by the TV Production Management – Rome TV Production Center, to innovate in the wake of tradition. Return to the roots also for the theme song, which integrates past and future.
“The person at the center of information. This is the idea that inspired the new Tg2 study”, explains Preziosi, who then continues: “It is a commitment that comes from our history and projects us towards the future. For this reason the new acronym contains a quote from the past. That ‘2’ which is made up of various colors reminds us where we come from and pushes us to renew our commitment to seriousness and credibility towards those who listen to us also in the future”. “The fact of having used Rai’s professionalism for the design of the study and also for the theme song can only make us proud – comments Rai CEO Roberto Sergio – and is part of the new industrial plan which has the focus on innovation, the transformation into a digital media company and the valorisation of our excellent workers”.
Many Rai directors showed up to greet the inauguration of the new studio, from Antonio Pionati to Mario Orfeo, from Gian Marco Chiocci to Paolo Petrecca up to Alessandra Ferraro. The scenography of the new tg2 is by Flaminia Suri; graphic design by Alessandro Cossu; the directorial project is by Silvia Belluscio and Adriano Ilari; the technical coordination of Salvatore Zaru and Simone Di Battista, while the Director of Photography is Stefano Russo.
