The Mission in Haiti organization published a message on social networks on Thursday night, before the fatal outcome, in which it asked prayers for his three employees, who at that time were being attacked by an armed group.
According to their story, David and Natalie Lloyd, as well as a third person who has not been identified, were “hiding” while gang members shot at the building in which they were taking refuge.
“They shot at all the windows of the house and they continue shooting. Their lives are in danger,” the organization warned at the time.

The missionaries, the text detailed, had been attacked in the afternoon by several “men traveling in three vans,” who stole “everything they could” from one of the buildings where the NGO operated.
Natalie and Davy married in August 2022 and moved to Haiti three months later, according to the young woman’s Instagram account.
On social networks it is seen how they worked mainly with Haitian children for the NGO Missions in Haiti Inc., which was founded by Davy’s parents, David and Alicia Lloyd, in 2000.
