Chiara Ferragni spoke to Che tempo che fa. The first time on television after the news of the separation from Fedez and the consequences of the well-known events linked to the connection between commercial operations and charity. A communication operation on a traditional media, TV, in an ultra-traditional format, the interview with Fabio Fazio.
It worked? It depends on the point of view. The viewer perceives the desire to set up a truth operation, which serves to re-establish a reputation compromised in recent months, at least from the Pandoro Balocco affair onwards. It goes through a series of conventional measures: the admission of an error, which however is traced back to a carelessness, a lack of communication; a touch of controlled emotion when talking about the personal story and the bond with Fedez; caution regarding the relationship with the world of social media, towards which the gratitude of those who owe their success and wealth to gigantic virtual popularity cannot be lacking; the attempt to also speak to the television audience, with the promise of greater attention to the real world.
The questions, in Fazio's usual style, are polite and measured and build an interlocution closer to a shared narrative than to a contradictory one. The answers are cautious, equally controlled, at times fearful. The script was written carefully and is respected with care by both parties.
The result, overall, is a passage that adds little to the story of the facts and risks having little impact on the communication level as well. Because the television interlude shifts little from the real game, the one that Chiara Ferragni will continue to play on social media to convince followers to remain faithful to a model that recent missteps have evidently called into question.
