White House spokesman Kirby called on Russia to “stay away” from the US elections
White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby advised Russia and its President Vladimir Putin to “stay away” from the November 2024 US elections. His words lead RIA News.
“I think Mr. Putin is well aware of what this administration is doing to counter Russia’s malign influence around the world and, of course, what it is doing on Ukrainian soil… and Mr. Putin should stay away from our elections,” called the American official.
On February 14, the Russian president, in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, said which of the American presidents was easier for him to work with. In response to the question of who is better for Russia – current US leader Joe Biden or ex-leader Donald Trump, Putin chose the current president. According to the head of state, Biden is more experienced and predictable. He also added that Russia will interact with any US leader.
