Dolce&Gabbana’s 65-metre mega-yacht arrives in Puglia
The Dolce & Gabbana maxi yacht is moored in Polignano: her name is “Queen of Italy”, 65 meters long and belongs to the two stylists Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana, expected for a fashion show on 10 July in Ostuni.
The boat has attracted the attention of tourists and onlookers: a giant costing 50 million stopped in Cala Ponte waiting for the maison’s fashion shows. On board there are two owner’s suites, 4 guest cabins, a gym and a 5-metre swimming pool for two on the sun deck. It is made of steel and aluminum and is spread over five decks.
Dolce & Gabbana in these days will set up their headquarters in Borgo Egnazia, an ultra-luxury resort in Savelletri di Fasano, in view of the two fashion shows scheduled for July 10 in Ostuni and for July 11 in Alberobello. In the White City men will be the protagonists while in the capital of the trulli space will be dedicated to women’s high fashion. The events will be accessed only with a very confidential invitation even if the two stylists, to involve the interested communities, could decide to install maxi screens.
The new Codecasa 65 – Hull F74 is made of steel and aluminium, spread over 5 decks, and is the result of collaboration between the shipyard’s technical staff and the M2 Atelier architecture studio in Milan, personally chosen by the two stylists.
The “Regina d’Italia”, which flies the Italian flag and was purchased by the two stylists through a leasing company, has large spaces that want to simultaneously offer maximum visibility and privacy in all environments, both external and internal. Among the many features, the yacht has two owner’s suites, 4 guest cabins, a gym and a 5m by two swimming pool on the sun deck.
The yacht was built according to the Lloyd’s Register regulations for obtaining the highest Class as well as in compliance with the British Maritime and Coast Guard Agency (MCA) “LY3 the Large Commercial Yacht Code” to have the “Letter of Compliance ” as “Unrestricted Yacht”; she also has the highest Class of Rina.
