New petrol and diesel car incentives
For 2023 car incentives could return for the purchase of vehicles most requested on the market, i.e. those with an engine petrol, diesel, LPG and mild and full hybrids. The fund went quickly worn out but according to rumors the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy is rethinking to remodulate and re-propose the incentives in favor of the band 61-135 g/km of CO2.
The stated goal is to wake up the Italian car park, offering a bonus of around 2,000 euros for the purchase of a new car, with the obligation to scrap it.
“We need to encourage those who need a car. State money must be used to rejuvenate the car fleet, taking Euro 0-1-2-3 off the road – the Made in Italy minister declared to the Chamber during Question time, Adolfo Urso – we need to help those who can’t afford to change their old car, not those who have the ability to buy an electric car if they want”.
