Born 23 years ago in Newry, County Down in northern IrelandRoss Larkin has lived a healthy, regular and fulfilling life.

The rebirth of Ross Larkin
That medical procedure was actually a brain surgery which served to remove the cancer cells.
The operation, carried out on Christmas Eve 2021, fortunately was perfectly successful. And they were also successful chemotherapy and radiotherapy to which Ross Larkin underwent in the following months.
Today the worst seems to be over and the young champion says he is grateful to God, the medical staff and his family because, according to him, they saved his life.
It is not yet clear if it will ever return to play like a probut Ross has already returned to sports and trains every day to run the Belfast Marathon scheduled for April 30th.
His is an honorable goal, given that he is also linked to one fundraiser for an association that deals with research on brain tumors.
