And what exactly is a NIO Space mobile? Well, you can get damn good coffee there.
Life used to be simple. You took your Opel Kadett to the Opel dealer and exchanged it for an Opel Astra. You were handed a few brochures, you drank liters of surrogate coffee and your children could play at such a table with a Lego box and chairs that sat at the table. People from the ’80s and early ’90s know what we mean.
Dad drank liters of surrogate coffee in that showroom and Mom was offered a bush upon delivery. With a bit of luck, the kids got a school model and that was it. Until three to four years later the tune started again.
Nio Space Mobile
Today it is very different. You can put together your car online and find out everything. Showrooms are becoming ‘experience centers’. Salespeople become geniuses. You know. Nio has something new in that vein: a Nio Space Mobile. That is a kind of mobile showroom where you can experience how a Nio smells inside. A Nio Space Mobile is a Nio House or Nio Space, but smaller. The counter now stands at 395 Nio Houses and Spaces. So now here comes also a Nio Space Mobile.
In addition, there will also be two Nio Space Houses in the Netherlands (a bit like a traditional dealer). In 2023 there will be one in Rotterdam (at De Meent) and one in Amsterdam. But if you want to experience what a Nio looks like in real life, you can go to Space Mobile.
But where is it then?
Ah, the location! We will also mention those. He is on the CM.Com Circuit in Zandavoort. In any case, Nio is working hard to gain a foothold in the Netherlands. In addition to this Space Mobile and the two Nio Houses coming up, two swap stations have recently opened.
The idea is that it drives there with a Nio ET5 or Nio ET7 (those cars are the first) and changes a battery in 5 minutes, instead of having to take a mandatory break for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, they don’t have such a lego table at the charging stations.
