World’s Air Pollution: Severe air pollution recorded in Thailand
In Thailand, severe air pollution has been recorded. This is reported TASS with reference to World’s Air Pollution air quality monitoring data.
Pollution was recorded in 15 districts of Bangkok. The air quality index in this country has reached the red level, which is considered “unhealthy” – the indicator is in the range from 151 to 158 points at a rate of 50. The air was also polluted in 25 other areas of the country.
According to monitoring data, high rates of pollution were also noticed in India. The index has surpassed that of Thailand and is at 173 in some areas. In other parts of the country, the index reached the purple level, which is described as “very unhealthy”, – the value reached 244 points.
Earlier, the Swiss manufacturer of air purification systems IQAir presented a ranking of the world’s cities with the worst air quality. The top three cities with the highest level of pollution included the Russian Krasnoyarsk. The leader of the anti-rating was the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the city of Sarajevo. The second line was taken by Lahore (Pakistan).
