Mazatlan. Adolescents and young people from the community of The Walamo They held a demonstration on Tuesday afternoon in rejection of the violence exercised against women in Sinaloa and in Mexico.
The girls organized during the day, and in the afternoon they walked down the main avenue of the town located south of Mazatlán to leave a precedent that they are against the forced disappearances and homicides of women.
In their hands they carried banners with the legends: “I came to shout what they made you shut up”, “Today we shout for everyone”, “On the way home I want to be free, not brave”, “If it’s my turn tomorrow, I want to be the last”, among other slogans.
Ana Karina Inda, one of the participants, expressed her concern about what is happening in some regions of the country, where women are being murdered and disappeared, hence the initiative to raise awareness among the population of southern Mazatlán so that they respect them.
He commented that they have the idea of carrying out this type of activities in neighboring communities and creating a bond, where the support of all the young people is felt.

The demonstration culminated with the roll call of the women who are missing in the state and the burning of confessions.
