Platform had already punished the president for content with “incorrect information” related to the pandemic
THE YouTube deleted this Thursday (14.Apr.2022) a video in which the president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) talks about possible fraud in the Brazilian electoral system.
The removal follows the announcement of an update to the platform’s terms of use to combat content that “promote false claims that fraud, errors or widespread technical problems have changed the election result”.
In the video deleted by YouTube, Bolsonaro talks about the performance of an alleged hacker to divert votes in the 2018 election. livethe president admits he has no evidence on the allegations.
The excerpt is available in an interview with the Chief Executive on the radio Young Pan Maringá on August 12, 2021. The video ais still available on Facebook.
THE Power 360 contacted YouTube, which did not respond to queries. The space remains open for demonstration.
In July 20121, the social network removed 15 videos posted by the president with “incorrect information” about the covid-19 pandemic.
