It arrived at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, presented to a number of delegations of the participating countries, who will allocate pavilions to display their specialized environmental projects in the Green Zone, in addition to official delegations to receive the leaders and leaders who will arrive successively in the coming hours.
According to an Egyptian government source who spoke to “Sky News Arabia”, the government has raised the degree of readiness in all sectors to receive official delegations, and has also tightened its security measures at all levels.
The source said that the Egyptian Ministry of Aviation has prepared a special operations room to coordinate the arrival of leaders and leaders, as 130 presidential planes are expected to land at Egyptian airports in the coming hours, in addition to many unofficial delegations.
It is expected that the total leaders and representatives of more than 190 countries to participate in the conference, in addition to a number of prominent and activists, and more than 3,000 foreign journalists from 450 regional and international media outlets.
Who attends the summit?
Prior to the official launch of the summit, a number of world leaders, officials and climate activists confirmed their attendance at the conference, which begins on Sunday and will last for several days.
• The White House confirmed the presence of US President Joe Biden on November 11th as part of an official delegation, which includes Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Affairs John Kerry, Ministers of State, Anthony Blinken, Energy, Jennifer Granholm, Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
• The German government announced the participation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the Climate Summit.
• The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is participating in the conference activities, along with a large official delegation.
• British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak decided to attend the COP27 summit, days after announcing his non-participation due to internal commitments.
• The French Embassy in Cairo confirmed that French President Emmanuel Macron will attend the Climate Summit.

• A high-level delegation headed by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is attending Sharm El-Sheikh.
