Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin on Monday evening to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and participate in a conference on the reconstruction of his country, according to what he announced in a post on the X platform.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Zelensky will participate in a conference to be held in Berlin for the reconstruction of Ukraine, with the participation of representatives of governments and the private sector, including ten heads of government.
Zelensky stressed that “finding urgent solutions for the Ukrainian energy sector will be our first priority.”
The Ukrainian president said, “I will also meet with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Parliament Speaker Barbel Bass, and I will visit a military base where our soldiers are training.”
Zelensky is scheduled to then head to Switzerland to participate in a “high-level conference on peace in Ukraine” to be held on Saturday and Sunday with the participation of more than 90 countries and organizations, in the absence of Russia and China.
