The Chamber finally approved the bill on differentiated autonomy with 172 votes in favour, 99 against and one abstention. The green light came at the end of a night session decided by the Assembly late yesterday evening (amid protests from the opposition). The bill with the «Provisions for the implementation of the differentiated autonomy of the Regions with ordinary statute pursuant to article 116, third paragraph, of the Constitution» was fired in the text identical to that voted by the Senate in the first reading.

Powers, resources, school and healthcare. What changes with autonomy
PAOLO RUSSO
Differentiated autonomy is the recognition by the State of the Regions with ordinary Statute of legislative autonomy on matters which today are of concurrent, i.e. common, competence. The Regions will be able to increase their skills in many subjects, including health, education, university, research, work, social security, justice of the peace, cultural heritage, landscape and others. In all these matters, the State could lose almost every role, delegating all power to the Regions.
