Sheriff Lawal was a british boxer Only 29 years old, he was beginning his career in the sport of fists. His first and only fight took place this weekend at the Harrow Leisure Center in London against his counterpart from Malam Varela.

It was the fourth round when everything got complicated, Sherif Lawal received a blow to the temple which caused him to fall. From the moment he received the blow, the referee called for medical assistance to help the boxer. An attempt was made to revive him in the same ring but without success. He was taken to a hospital where he was later confirmed dead.
The company Warren Boxing Management issued a statement announcing the death of Sherif Lawal. “Sherif Lawal was making his debut at a show at Harrow Leisure Centre. Unfortunately, during Sherif’s fight, he collapsed and, despite the best efforts of paramedics, was later pronounced dead,” it reads.
