Former President of the United States Donald Trump criticized this Tuesday (18) the Joe Biden government’s new migration plan, stating that the measure represents an “amnesty for millions of foreigners” who enter the country illegally.
“Biden will formally grant large-scale amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who came to our country,” said the pre-candidate for the presidency during a rally held in Wisconsin.
The measure announced by the White House, which allows immigrants who do not have legal status in the US and are married to Americans to open the process of obtaining a residence permit without having to leave the country, will open the doors to “an avalanche of illegals”, he said Trump.
The Republican also classified Biden’s new policy as a “direct attack on American democracy” and another example of “how he [Biden] and his communists” are demolishing the constitutional system and replacing it with a “corrupt regime”.
Trump promised to end this plan if he returns to the White House and accused Biden of using migrants who enter the US illegally for electoral purposes.
“Joe Biden wants to be the president of illegal immigrants, but I will be the president of law-abiding Americans. I will be the president of all backgrounds, all walks of life, all races, religions and creeds,” he said.
Concerned about inflation, the state of the economy and the US image abroad, Trump presented himself as the only alternative for the presidential elections on November 5, in which he leads the polls.
“As president, I will fight for elderly Americans, not Biden’s illegals. I will fight for American workers, not human traffickers. I will fight for senators, not child traffickers. And I will restore the country’s sovereign borders,” he said, to applause from a crowd of supporters.
