Former governor wants to soften Lula’s image in agribusiness, who turns up his nose at the PT’s proximity to the MST
Former Governor of São Paulo Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), candidate for vice president of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), he said, in a sequence of tweets about his relationship with agribusiness, that the right to private property is constitutional. He emphasized that both he and the former president signed the text.
The mention is a reference to the PT’s proximity to the MST (Landless Rural Workers Movement). Part of agribusiness rejects Lula’s name for associating it with the MST’s actions, of claiming properties through occupations or invasions, depending on who speaks.
With the message, Alckmin seeks to soften the image of the ticket and rule out the possibility of government incentives for these group actions.
“Property right. It’s in the Constitution, Constitution [email protected] and I helped write. Agribusiness needs to develop. It took a leap in the Lula government. let’s take another now”, said the former toucan in his profiles on the social networks.
