When analyzing the messages from the leader of a gang that carried out the ‘Tinder scam’ in São Paulo, the Civil Police discovered a link between the group and the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) faction. Alisson Raphael Lino Porfirio, appointed as leader of the gang, would have shared the extortion profits with ‘Goiânia’, the ‘final tune’ of the PCC, member of the faction’s leadership.
The information is contained in the investigation that culminated in the conviction of a gang, allegedly led by Alisson, which attracted victims via Tinder to carry out extortion through threats, use of weapons and restriction of the victims’ freedom. The group created ‘Maria Clara’, a virtual fantasy to attract unwary people into love encounters.
The sentence imposed 18 years in prison on Alissaon and is based on the case of a 48-year-old man who spent three days in captivity in the East zone of São Paulo at the beginning of October 2022. The gang took R$220,000 from the victim, as well as a car and other goods.
Alisson was arrested red-handed on October 14, 2022 when he was using the card of another extortion victim. On that occasion, he and an accomplice were surprised in a house not only with the card, but with bank statements from transactions made from the victim’s accounts, five card machines, cell phones, a Hulk mask and an electric shock machine.
On the detainee’s cell phone, the Police found a conversation in which ‘Goiânia’, the interlocutor of the leader of the ‘Tinder scam’ gang, says he is ‘final tune from the USA’.
According to researchers, the mention of the country is linked to the PCC’s territorial divisions. The ‘final tune’ corresponds to the leadership of the criminal organization, which decides on issues more sensitive to the faction, including the trial and death of enemies.
The messages seized on Alisson’s cell phone were transcribed by the Civil Police into 55 pages. The interlocutor ‘Goiânia’ has not yet been identified, but, according to the investigation, it was with him that Alisson held discussions, in real time, about the kidnapping that led to the conviction signed on Tuesday, 4.
In the dialogues, the two negotiate weapons, including a rifle sold for R$55,000 and a pistol sold for R$16,000. Transfer receipts are still exchanged, including between accounts belonging to other members of the Tinder scam gang. It was also to ‘Goiânia’ that Alisson sent a screenshot of the fake profile he created on the dating app, in the name of ‘Maria Clara’, to attract victims.
The conversations also show, according to the Police, that Alisson hired ‘Goiânia’, on October 2, 2022 – the day after the kidnapping of the 48-year-old victim. In the message, the defendant tells the PCC leader that he has a ‘job’, offering 30% in exchange for company accounts to receive the extorted amounts. ‘Goiânia’ accepted the offer.
Subsequently, they distributed the amounts to the accounts and issued invoices that would be paid through the victim’s bank accounts. They also made a video call and exchanged proof of transfer from the 48-year-old man’s account. Furthermore, they discussed the ‘financial capacity to receive extorted amounts’, which would be R$2 million, according to Goiânia.
In the midst of a conversation about values and percentages of division of ‘profits’, Alisson sent three audios to ‘Goiânia’. In one of them, the alleged leader of the Tinder scam gang states: “Goiania, you’re an old scoundrel, you understand crime, it’s not for nothing that you’re a PCC, otherwise the guys wouldn’t put you out there for nothing. , no, are you connected, my brother?”
Investigators recovered other conversations from Alisson’s cell phone. In a dialogue he deals with another investigator about ‘the kidnapping of victims, the recruitment of new bank accounts to receive the extorted amounts, the ATM withdrawal of the amounts, their distribution in cash and also in PIX transfers’.
In this sequence of messages, Alisson refers to the 48-year-old man who had been kidnapped, referring to the case as ‘S job’. He states that “Bico is there tied up”. At another point, the group leader says that it is a ‘Tinder scam’.
