ORA 54-year-old man was accused of trying to murder a 10-year-old boy by throwing him off a 30-meter cliff. after the minor tried to stop the attacker from raping his 13-year-old sister. The events attributed to the subject would have occurred in Ovingdean, near Brighton (United Kingdom).
The trial against Anthony Stocks, from Oxfordshire, began this Monday at Oxford Crown Court, which assesses Stocks’ responsibility in the events.
Specifically, he is charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 years of age, one count of inciting a child under 13 years of age to engage in sexual activity, and one count of rape of a minor. As well as one count of attempted murder and an alternative charge of cruelty to a person under 16 years of age, according to the Oxford Mail.
The prosecutor in the case Zoe Johnson KC alleged this Monday that after the victim found out about the abuse of her sister by Stocks, that They had started four years agoand tried to prevent the attack, the accused took him to the Brighton cliffs without his mother’s permission or knowledge.

“At first it was believed that what had happened was a terrible accident, but investigations revealed a different and much darker picture,” he added.

How the accident happened?
Anthony Boulding, a witness at the scene, testified that he and a friend were walking towards the cliff ladder when they saw the boy and the defendant walking along the grassy edge and heading towards the top of the cliffs.
”The boy had his hands outstretched as if he were balancing; he seemed to be having fun. The defendant was walking behind him and keeping up with him,” Boulding said.
The prosecutor then continued: “Mr Boulding and his friend walked down the stairs to the concrete underpass on the beach. About 10 minutes later, Mr Boulding heard a noise, looked towards the top of the cliff and saw a figure on the wrong side of the fence.”

After the fall, the boy was “conscious and in immense pain.” He was sedated, put in a splint on his arm and taken by helicopter to St George’s Hospital in Tooting, south London, where he had to be resuscitated, before being put into a medical coma.
Due to the “extremely high impact trauma” the boy suffered, he has no memory of the fall itself, the jury heard.
“The boy described the top of the cliff and saw the beach below. He remembered looking down and seeing how steep it was,” the prosecutor said.

“I want to get rid of him so we can be together”the accused told the girl.
Amid the police investigation, Stock also told his mental health support worker that one day he would marry her and they would be together forever.
“She said (she) listened to him and understood him,” authorities records read.
