A flock of 29 Chinese military aircraft violated Taiwan’s airspace today, in the southwestern part of the island. This was reported by the Taipei Defense Ministry, quoted by the Focus Taiwan website. The Taiwan defense reacted by raising a patrol of fighter jets, launching radio alarms and deploying air defense missile systems.
The group of Chinese aircraft included among other things six H-6 strategic bombers, eight Shenyang J-16 fighters and five Shenyang J-11 fighters. This is the third largest raid this year, after those of January 23 (39 planes) and May 30 (30).
