In Yekaterinburg, the Oktyabrsky District Court sentenced a local resident to nine years in prison for killing an acquaintance and filling him with polyurethane foam in the basement. This was reported to Lenta.ru by the Sverdlovsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
The man was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”). He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
As the court established, in the summer of 2023, the convicted person and the victim had a quarrel, after which the defendant hit his opponent on the head at least four times. Because of this, he fell. Then the attacker grabbed him by the neck and squeezed. After that, he left the room. After some time, the defendant returned and saw that his acquaintance had stood up. The man attacked him again and hit him on the head at least four times. The victim fell to the floor again and hit his head. Then the accused kicked him on the head at least four times. As a result, the man did not survive the blows he received. Then the defendant carried his acquaintance to the basement and filled him and the hatch leading to the basement with a can of polyurethane foam.
Earlier it was reported that near Voronezh, in Borisoglebsk, a 55-year-old local resident received eight years of imprisonment for the reprisal against a new acquaintance due to an insult.
