Nissan's electrified recipe convinces the European public and in particular the Italian one. Is called e-POWERand revolves around the presence of an electric powertrain combined with a 1.5-litre, 158 HP three-cylinder turbo petrol engine which turns on only when it is necessary to produce power energy and is equipped with the exclusive variable compression ratio technology patented by the Japanese brand.
14,000 in Italy alone
The numbers relating to the Old Continent market prove Nissan right: launched in September 2022, this technology has already won over 100,000 customers in Europe. We remind you that the hybrid system in question is available today only on the Qashqai and X-Trail models: 65,367 Nissan customers chose the former, the remaining 34,663 the latter. And in Italy? Also in this case the data satisfies the Japanese giant: in our country alone, around 14,000 e-POWER models were sold, of which 70% Qashqai and 30% X-Trail, for a share equal to 14% of total sales in Europe .
