Further back Jaume Masià, eighth and hampered by the yellow flag displayed on the last lap due to Yamanaka’s fall, which involved Farioli, with tensions between the two.
Q1: Rossi among the Italians
Qualification that opens without the participation of Scott Odgendeclared unfit for the bad fall that occurred during free practice, in which he suffered a shoulder fracture. The Valencian qualification begins without any particular twists, with Jose Rueda who achieved the best performance in 1:38.929. In this way, the Spaniard enters Q2 ahead of David Alonso, Taiyo Furusato and Riccardo Rossi, unique among Italians. Behind him are his compatriots Matteo Bertelle and Romani Fenati, 5th and 6th respectively.
Q2: first three in 60 thousandths
In the decisive session for assigning the pole position, Daniel Holgado remained out of the running after a crash without consequences. The fight for the front row, at the same time, is entirely between Veijer and his teammate Sasaki, with the Dutchman defending his fastest lap, distancing the Japanese by just 48 thousandths. Pole which also eludes Öncü, also due to the impossibility of completing his fastest lap due to the yellow flag displayed right at the last corner for the fall of Yamanakawho loses control in an attempt to overtake on the inside Farioli, overwhelming the Bergamo driver. The latter, getting up, then went into a rage with the Japanese. The last race of the season will take place tomorrow at 12:00, live on Sky Sport MotoGP.
