Stellantis, Landini on Calenda: “He will have to answer for his statements, because I am not at this level of discussion”
After Calenda's statements to the Messaggero, where he criticized the connections between the editorial line of Repubblica and the entrepreneurial choices of the Elkann family (which is its publisher), speaking on Restart on Rai3, the general secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, made it known to have undertaken legal actions against Carlo Calenda, the leader of Action. According to Calenda, Landini and Schlein avoid discussing Stellantis to obtain favors from Repubblica. “There was a Repubblica effect on the Italian left after the purchase of Elkann because Schlein and the Italian union no longer talk about Stellantis. Landini has softened his tone in an incredible way.”
The union leader himself clarified that he had filed a complaint against the former minister due to the accusations of alleged 'complacency' towards the Elkann family made against the union. Landini attacked those who have always criticized, paying a high price, and added: “Those who speak today were in government and made laws to favor Fiat. Everyone must respond, we have nothing to hide“, Landini said again. And regarding the former Ilva, the general secretary says: “Today not only is there a need for Ilva to become public again but, in recent weeks, we must avoid a total blockade activities.”
