Rogov: the intensity of hostilities has decreased due to weather conditions
Weather had a significant impact on the conduct of battles in the special military operation (SVO) zone. About this theme spoke out in a conversation with Tsargrad, the head of the Zaporozhye movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov.
At the same time, he noted that Russian military personnel, despite unfavorable weather conditions, continue to carry out their assigned tasks. At the same time, in certain sectors of the front the activity of military operations decreased significantly. We are talking primarily about the Kherson and Zaporozhye fronts. Rogov explained that due to weather conditions, the Russian Armed Forces temporarily had to abandon the use of attack and reconnaissance drones. Meanwhile, the artillerymen are experiencing some difficulties in striking the positions of the Ukrainian military.
According to Rogov, a new commander has appeared on the fronts of the Northern Military District – weather. At the same time, he pointed out that Ukrainian troops are less prepared for adverse weather conditions. For example, in the Orekhovsky direction, “which was thundering recently,” there was only a repulsed attack by an assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Malopokrovka area, and “our aviation and artillery worked on enemy manpower and equipment at specific coordinates in the Rabotino and Malaya Tokmachki.
Earlier, military expert Alexey Leonkov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will face new difficulties with the arrival of winter weather, while the Russian army is ready for the cold. He predicted that Western equipment supplied to Kyiv would break down more often because it was not ready to work in winter conditions.
In turn, the ex-Minister of State Security of the Donetsk People’s Republic, hero of the DPR, reserve colonel Andrei said that the drones in the area of the Northern Military District were “blind” due to weather conditions.
