The hypercar from American soil has been made even more extreme.
If you’re a hypercar manufacturer and the question is ‘should we make a superlative?’ the answer is always ‘yes’. In the world of hypercars it can never be crazy enough. That’s why there is now an extreme version of the Hennessey Venom F5. That standard is already quite extreme.
Just a little refresher: the Venom F5 is the successor to the Venom GT. That was a converted Lotus that was faster than a Veyron. The completely new Venom F5 hasn’t broken any records yet, but this Hennessey is also very fast. That is perhaps also the reason that this car is named after a hotkey.
Based on this Venom F5, there is now the Venom F5 ‘Revolution’. This one is more focused on track use. A bit the same idea as a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport or a Pagani Huayra BC. An absurdly fast track toy, which is still street legal.
The profit is not in the capital, because that has remained the same. The twin-turbo 6.6 liter V8 also produces 1,842 hp in the Revolution. Apparently the word “enough” is in Hennessey’s dictionary after all.
The difference is mainly in the aerodynamics. Where the regular Venom F5 still looks fairly clean, the Revolution has received a larger splitter, a larger diffuser and a Stars and Stripes cake server, among other things. A roof scoop has been mounted for extra cooling.
Furthermore, the chassis has been slightly modified and the Revolution is equipped with new rims (which, incidentally, resemble those of the normal Venom F5 like two drops of water). Finally, the Revolution is equipped with a telemetry system, so you can keep an eye on all data like a pro.
Of course, the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution will be built in limited edition. The Americans keep it at 24 pieces. There are just as many (or rather: just as few) as the regular Venom F5 are built. The Venom F5 Roadster is the least rare, because 30 will be made.
For those who are still curious about the price tag: the starting price is $ 2.7 million. That is converted to just over 2.5 million euros.
The V8 sounds incredibly brutal, so check out the video:
