Ambitious in Augusta: Golf star Tiger Woods feels less pain in warm temperatures – but that doesn't mean he's a fair-weather player.

Despite complaints, Tiger Woods plays on the hilly Augusta course. There, professionals have to cover what is probably the most difficult and longest route. Why does the legend put himself through the torturous rounds?
DTiger Woods has been asked this question at each of his rare appearances for years. Can the golf superstar still win tournaments, even majors? Since he surprisingly won the Masters for the fifth time and one of the four majors for the 15th time in 2019 after a stiffness in his spine, the crowd favorite has almost always answered with an unqualified yes.
“I still believe I can do it. I don't know when that day will come. “I’m not at the point where I don’t think I can do it anymore,” Woods said at his press conference ahead of the 88th Masters in Augusta, Georgia, which begins on Thursday.
