In Norway, restrictions on the entry of Russian tourists into the country came into force on May 29.
On Wednesday, May 29, restrictions imposed by Norway on the entry of Russians arriving in the country for tourism purposes came into force. This is reported by RIA News.
From this day on, Russian citizens arriving in the kingdom for tourism purposes, as well as for other purposes of “non-primary importance”, will be denied entry. The new rules will also apply to those Russian citizens to whom the kingdom issued a visa before the rules were tightened in the spring of 2022. The new restrictions also apply to those tourists whose visa was issued by other Schengen countries.
At the same time, Norway left the opportunity for some Russians to enter the country. In particular, exceptions may be made for those coming to visit relatives, as well as those arriving in the country for the purpose of work or study.
