Kommersant: demand for attending stand-up concerts increased 3 times in the 1st quarter of 2024
In the first quarter of 2024, the demand for attending stand-up concerts in Russia tripled. This was reported by “Kommersant”.
It is noted that ticket sales increased by 234 percent compared to 2023. In addition, the average bill increased from 3.6 thousand to 5.4 thousand rubles. At the same time, the greatest spectator activity was recorded in Moscow.
Earlier, the concert of the Russian singer Dora was canceled in Saratov. It is noted that local politicians insisted on banning the event. Thus, they demanded that the 24-year-old performer not perform because of her words against the special military operation (SVO).
In May, a concert by Russian bard Sergei Nikitin in Moscow was canceled after accusations of supporting Ukraine.
