Fake couriers acted on the same street in February
In February of this year, another high-profile crime also took place on Rua José Maria Lisboa. At the time, two fake delivery men approach a couple, who were walking with a dog, and a woman, who was alone.
For her, one of the criminals even asks for the cell phone to be unlocked, which would allow transfers via Pix, an instant payment tool, more easily after the theft.
The robbery took place shortly after 7 pm and was filmed by security cameras.
As part of the increase in robberies recorded by the State of São Paulo earlier this year, fake food app delivery people are robbing pedestrians in different neighborhoods of the capital.
