Everything changes for those who will have to go back to school both for what concerns the Dad, and for the use of protections
The seesaw of infections from Covid 19 continues and awaiting the arrival of autumn, with the return to class and with the offices that will inevitably fill up (the smartworking period also ends) the new government rules for the management of pandemic. Let’s see, item by item, how we should behave.
School: no more Dad
Positive pupils cannot follow lessons in Integrated Digital Education: “the special legislation for the school context linked to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which allowed this method, ceases its effects with the end of the 2021/2022 school year” . This is what the Ministry of Education explains in a vademecum sent today to schools with the main indications for combating the spread of Covid-19 in schools in view of the start of the year 2022/2023. The text summarizes the documents drawn up by the Higher Institute of Health in recent weeks, already sent to schools.
The document of the ministry, to protect fragile pupils, specifies that “the parents of pupils / children who, due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, are more exposed to the risk of developing adverse symptoms, communicate this condition to the school in writing and documented, also specifying any protection measures to be activated while attending school. Following the notification received, the school evaluates the specific situation in conjunction with the Department of territorial prevention and the pediatrician / family doctor to identify the appropriate precautionary measures to be applied to ensure the attendance of the pupil in the presence and in conditions of safety”.
Masks and Ffp2
Also with regard to school, the use of the surgical mask or Ffp2 will be required only in certain circumstances: “In children, rhinorrhea alone (cold) is a frequent condition and cannot always be a reason for not attending or leaving school in the absence of fever “points out the ministry, which adds that” students can attend in presence wearing surgical masks / FFP2 until the symptoms are resolved and taking care of hand hygiene and respecting the respiratory etiquette “. Obviously, they remain mandatory in health facilities: hospitals, nursing homes, hospices.
Masks on public transport
They remain mandatory until September 30 to travel on any means of public transport. So, from ships to ferries, from trains of any kind (including interregional and Intercity or High speed), buses and school transport of I and II degree.
Mini quarantines
The mini quarantine is triggered, therefore for 5 days “for cases that have always been asymptomatic or were initially symptomatic but have been asymptomatic for at least 2 days”, the isolation can end after 5 days. However, an antigenic or molecular test must be performed “which is negative at the end of the isolation period”. If there is no negativization and the positivity continues, the rule is to “interrupt the isolation at the end of the 14th day from the first positive swab, regardless of the test being performed”.
Vaccination obligation
For those who work in health facilities (including RSA) the vaccine is mandatory. These employees will only be able to enter the workplace by showing the Green pass. For all others it is no longer necessary to exhibit the green certification.
