The Dubai International Financial Center Academy, the educational center affiliated with the Dubai International Financial Centre, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cisco – a global leader in information technology and networking – to facilitate access for employees working in the center to the Cisco Networking Academy, which provides one of the oldest Job skills training programs in the world.
The MoU paves the way for the launch of a comprehensive talent development program aimed at building a digitally savvy workforce in the UAE.
For the first time in the region, the DIFC community will have access to unprecedented opportunities to hone skills in core areas of the digital economy sector, including cybersecurity, programming, data science, networking, and artificial intelligence.
The hybrid teaching approach at Cisco Networking Academy will provide personalized, comprehensive and accessible learning experiences that meet the needs of the DIFC community.
