Berlusconi, little Ita flies in the red: the 2023 budget
Also there little Ita from the Berlusconi family continues to fly in the red and worse than before. The budget 2023 of Alba Servizi Aerotrasporti (Asa), controlled by Fininvest, has in fact closed with a loss of over 6.2 million euros, worse than passive than 5.7 million the year before. The deficit was fully repaid by the shareholders’ meeting of 29 April last held in Milan, through the use of 6.2 million paid by Fininvest in the capital account, 305 thousand went to cover a previous deficit. There Asa’s air fleet is made up of a Hawker 750 jet, a Hawker 800 which entered mid-last year, an Agusta Aw 139 helicopter and a Gulfstream 550 jet, co-owned by the Gavio family and operates a new Falcon2000Lxs, not owned by it.
The planesdue to the end of the pandemic and the arrival of the new jet, they flew more than the year before (1,278 hours compared to 1,958 in 2022) resulting in a year-on-year increase and stability of revenues to 5.4 million, while the rental fees for aircraft to third parties increased from 5.9 to 8.2 million. The total revenues of 13.6 million (better than the 11.3 million of the previous year) were however weighed down by costs that jumped from 19.3 to 22 million year on year, especially due to contractual increases, maintenance costs and airport expenses . The net financial position of Asaof which Augusto Barbieri was reconfirmed as CEO while he is president Danilo Pellegrino CEO of Fininvest, remains in debt but has improved year on year from 9.2 to 7.5 million.
