A 69 year old Hispanic man who resided in Compton, within the state of California, United States, was attacked by more than 300 bees while checking the trunk of his truck and died after suffering two cardiac arrests due to the violent episode.
According to the information shared by the media Univision, Echeverría’s wife, Consuelo Lobato, detailed the distressing and shocking moment. “He got up from the truck, but he was already holding on. He sat here with his feet dangling and plucked all the bees from his face, shooed them away. He opened his mouth as if he wanted to ask for help, but the bees flew into his mouth.“, she said sadly.
The man, who suffered the attack while checking his truck, used his last strength to save the child who was accompanying them. “There were like 300 bees inside., but my husband hadn’t realized they were there. So He grabbed the child and ran inside.. The boy was carrying three bees on his chest,” his wife specified.
Then, Lobato explained that the bees came from a honeycomb located in front of a neighbor’s house, who tried to remove them. However, he could not continue with his plan because the exterminators charged him a high price.
In most cases, these bites do not require a visit to the doctor.
