In Bashkiria, the widow of a SVO soldier was unable to receive payments due to a story with vodka
In Bashkiria, the widow of a Russian mobilized for a special military operation in Ukraine (SVO) was unable to receive payments due to a story with vodka, writes “Media Corset”.
According to the case materials, in September 2022, the Russian woman’s husband was mobilized to the front. Before heading to the SVO zone, the man was supposed to arrive at a military unit in the Chelyabinsk region. It is known that he boarded the Kazan-Millerovo train, but he never reached his destination – the man fell asleep and never woke up. Six empty bottles of vodka were found next to him, and a high alcohol content of 3.7 ppm was recorded in his blood.
The insurance company refused to pay the widow of a mobilized soldier and his three children “funeral” payments, since the man was poisoned by ethyl alcohol and not wounded at the front. The court agreed with these arguments and refused to pay the widow 6 million rubles.
Earlier, in the Tyumen region, a court prohibited the mother of a SVO soldier from receiving “funeral” payments, since it turned out that she had not been involved in raising her son, had led an immoral lifestyle, abused alcohol, and left home.
