Great participation for the III National Enpab Congress, the national body for the welfare and assistance of biologists, which ends today in Rome. At the center of the event is the importance of the professional figure of the biologist to raise citizens’ awareness of a correct lifestyle, the strengthening of forms of assistance, social security benefits and the subsidiary role of the Funds. The positive consequences of the ecological transition in our economy on the category which in Italy has over 18 thousand professionals, are some of the main topics covered in the two days at the Auditorium della Conciliazione, entitled “Previdenza è health. The future is in our hands.” The first day was opened by a message from Pope Francis focused on the importance of the role of biologists in society.
For Tiziana Stallone, Enpab president, “the main message of the III Enpab congress is this: the future is in our hands and should not be delegated. We are the ones who build it responsibly through our work, professional networks, constant training that allows us to exploit, and not suffer from, innovation. In building the future through the present Enpab wants to be alongside its members”. “The Congress is a fundamental moment of the year in which we have the maximum participation of the members – comments Massimo Opromolla, Enpab general director – thus emphasizing the direct relationship between the organization and the biologists who are the real protagonists. We have imagined an event aimed at unite and encourage members to belong to their fund”.
During the Congress, the new edition of the ‘Let’s build health!’ project was presented. Biologists in schools’, promoted by Enpab, in collaboration with the Joint Committee of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Merit. In the 2024/2025 school year, 100 Enpab biologists – explains a note – will be able to make their professionalism available with the aim of developing, increasing and disseminating to students and their families “food culture and awareness in consistent respect of ‘environment”. The Project, aimed solely at students attending the third year of primary school, will be organized in frontal educational meetings with the students. There are over 80 schools involved throughout the national territory.
